Tegan is from a farm outside of Strathmore and started working in veterinary medicine at age 14 as a kennel assistant and fell in love with the nursing aspect of the industry. In 2015 she graduated technician school from Grande Prairie Regional College, Fairview Campus. Tegan has spent the last four years in Calgary working as an emergency technician and recently moved to Lethbridge for a change of pace. She has a passion for anesthesiology, critical nursing and nutrition and is currently looking to pursue a specialty in anesthesiology. Tegan has two fur babies, two-year-old golden mix Bowie, and ten-year-old cat Missy. In her spare time, Tegan can be found hiking, reading, sewing, and volunteering.
