Marina Giesbrecht

My name is Marina and I was born and raised right here in Lethbridge. I moved away for a short time to obtain my Animal Health Technology degree at Olds College and Graduated from the program in June 2016. After graduating I decided to come back to Lethbridge so could be closer to family and pursue the career I’ve wanted since I was a little girl. This is how I came to be with Family Pet Hospital, where I’ve been working since September 2016.
I love coming to work every day and improving the lives of as many animals as I can. The atmosphere is also great here we are always laughing and having a good time. Dogs and cats are my favorite, but I also enjoy working with reptiles and other exotics.

My Fiancé and I have two adorable furbabies at home. Kovu our happy go lucky little Chihuahua cross and his little brother Zazu our sweet and fluffy cat. In the cold Canadian winter, you can usually find me cuddled up with my boys or working on my art. During the summer, I’m usually busy camping, volunteering with the Alberta Spay and Neuter Task Force or off on some other adventure.
