Dr. Jacob Adserballe, BA, DVM
Dr. Jacob Adserballe, BA., DVM graduated from Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and moved to Lethbridge at that time.
Since 2002 Dr. Jacob has spent much of his work time dealing with pet emergencies and has taken continuing education in that field.
In 2008 Dr. Jacob was the young veterinarian of the year for Alberta. He has been actively involved with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association since 2003 and has served on many different committees and is currently on the registration committee.
Currently, Dr. Jacob focuses his work on orthopaedic surgery (bone surgery) and various soft tissue surgeries. He has taken extensive continuing education in both orthopaedic surgery and soft tissue surgery. The most common surgeries he performs are: Fracture repairs of all sorts, TPLO (tibial plateau levelling osteopathy) knee surgery, cancer mass resection, gastro-intestinal surgery, urogenital surgery, skin reconstruction surgery, dental surgery, joint surgery, oral surgeries, respiratory surgeries, ear surgery and eye surgery.
Dr. Jacob also has a special interest in diagnostic imaging (X-ray, CT Scans, Ultrasound and Endoscopy) and he enjoys teaching new veterinarians what he has learned so far.
Outside of work Dr. Jacob enjoys spending time with his family (wife, two young boys, two horses, two dogs and a cat), the great outdoors and doing triathlons.
